He earned his CFP in 1991, which was the start of his transition into the wealth management field.

Joe continues to give back to his community as a dedicated member of the Everett Rotary Club (since 1984), having served as a past president and treasurer. Joe grew up in Everett, raised his two sons (Eric & Brian) in Lynnfield, and now resides in Topsfield with his wife, Ann. The family now includes his daughter-in-law Meghan and an adorable grandson and granddaughter, Logan and Isabella. Joe enjoys traveling with his family, including a prior ten-year journey of attending a ballgame at every major league baseball park. His newest adventure involves traveling around the country visiting the spectacular US national parks (America’s Best Idea). His wife has already informed him that they will NOT be visiting every single US national park. Read our full interview with Joseph here.

"What’s your favorite thing about working at the firm?"

My favorite part about my job is the people; both the people I work with, and the people that I work for. I’m not a really extroverted person but I get energy from people. I enjoy meeting with people and talking with people. I like impacting the lives of our clients through wealth management planning.

"What’s special about your Sachetta clients?"

Some clients have been with us since 1984. We are like family to each other. We care about our clients as people, and always try to find a way to help them as best we can. Sometimes we manage the firm from the heart instead of the head. We enjoy seeing the impact of our work. We’ve got a great group of clients.

"What would you do if you didn't do this?"

Great question.  I rarely think of it.  I currently love what I do and can’t really imagine doing anything else.  If I had to find a different career it might be teaching.  I taught accounting and finance basics for Boston University corporate education center part-time for 17 years.
