There is a lot to know about the recent boom in cryptocurrency.  In this episode, Sachetta Callahan financial advisors welcome a special guest, Tim Tully, Chief Executive Officer at ZelCore Technologies, to discuss cryptocurrency. Tim’s background is in wealth management and he currently offers digital asset management services for over 250 top cryptos.

If you’re curious about cryptocurrency, you should first get familiar with blockchain technology. blockchain is essentially a database. It tracks down individual cryptocurrency transactions and connects with other transactions to create a chain of transaction history. There are many different cryptocurrencies, including some of the commonly known currencies like Bitcoin and Ethereum. Investing in cryptocurrency can yield high returns, although buyers must be willing to partake in the new technology and volatile environment.

Although the crypto market is volatile now, some professionals believe that it will continue its growth and eventually become an irreplaceable part of our economy. Because cryptocurrency is growing at such a fast rate, some financial advisors recommend investing in crypto now.  For those who are not buying into cryptocurrency now due to its fast ups and downs, financial advisors recommend taking the time to learn more about this fast-growing currency and the technological advancements that make it possible.
